SLA

Service Level Agreement

The use of products and services provided by LinuxFox Private Limited (LinuxFox.com), hereafter referred to as "LinuxFox", constitutes your agreement to the following "Service Level Agreement" in addition to the other terms and conditions mentioned here.

(1) Shared Hosting SLA

LinuxFox offers a 99.9% network uptime guarantee on all shared hosting plans. It is applicable to web hosting, WordPress hosting and other shared hosting plans. We calculate the SLA credit based on the effective monthly price paid during the current billing cycle. For example, if you paid $48 annually, then 10% of the effective monthly rate would be $0.40. The SLA credit given in a month in total cannot exceed 50% of the effective monthly price paid for the affected shared hosting account. The credit can only be added to your LinuxFox account, applicable to the payment of the next invoice. The SLA applies to the uptime of the parent server and does not include website errors, database errors, and other software related issues on your websites.

(2) VPS SLA

LinuxFox offers a 99.9% network uptime guarantee on all VPS plans. We calculate the SLA credit based on the effective monthly price paid during the current billing cycle. For example, if you paid $336 annually, then 30% of the effective monthly rate would be $8.40. The SLA credit given in a month in total cannot exceed 30% of the effective monthly price paid for the affected VPS. The credit can only be added to your LinuxFox account, applicable to the payment of the next invoice. The SLA applies to the uptime of the parent server and does not include website errors, database errors, and other software related issues on your websites.

(3) SLA for Dedicated Servers

LinuxFox offers a 99.99% network uptime guarantee on all dedicated servers. We calculate the SLA credit based on the effective monthly price paid during the current billing cycle. For example, if you paid $336 annually, then 30% of the effective monthly rate would be $8.40. The SLA credit given in a month in total cannot exceed 30% of the effective monthly price paid for the affected dedicated server. The credit can only be added to your LinuxFox account, applicable to the payment of the next invoice. The SLA applies to the uptime of the server and does not include website errors, database errors, and other software related issues on your websites.

(4) Exclusions

LinuxFox is not responsible for downtime related to the services listed below and credit will not be issued for those.
(1) Internal service failure within a server or a VPS such as MySQL, Apache, PHP, etc.
(2) Filesystem failure within a server or a VPS
(3) Scheduled downtime or planned maintenance
(4) Interruption of service due to unpaid invoices, abuse notifications, DDoS attacks, and violations to the terms of service
(5) ISP or local connection problems
(6) Customer-controlled downtime
(7) Acts of Force Majeure

(5) Changes

Any changes to the SLA will take effect five days after we publish it here.
